Christmas time means a lot of baking. But to bake the same biscuits every year is quite boring. This year I breathed new life into a tried and tested recipe.

I have simply combined classic cookies with super delicious kinder Riegel. Each dessert or pastry, which is combined with kinder riegel, simply gets a unique taste. So do my gift-giving stars, which have a piece of kinder Riegel ready for you. They are simply sweet and worth a treat for young and old.

You can also use this recipe for ordinary cookies.

How do I prepare gift-giving Stars with the Thermomix?

For the dough you put all ingredients except the chocolate bars into the Thermomix and let it knead for 5 minutes on dough mode. Then take it out of the mixing bowl and knead it by hand until it becomes a solid ball.

I always divide the dough into several parts so that it is easier to roll it out. To prevent it from sticking, sprinkle a little flour on the worktop and the rolling pin before you roll out the dough. Then you cut out stars from the rolled out dough and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Repeat this until the baking tray is full.

Now we give the stars their gift. To do this, take the kinder Riegel and cut them lengthwise in the middle and then again in each gap. The size of the kinder Riegel pieces also depends on your cookie cutter. I have a relatively small one and therefore the kinder Riegel pieces are quite small.

Then place the kinder Riegel pieces in the middle of each star and fold down a point of the star so that it looks as if the star is holding the chocolate.
The stars can now be baked in the oven for about 8 minutes at 200°C. Keep an eye on them so that they don’t get too dark and the chocolate doesn’t get burned.

The specified baking time always refers to one baking tray.

Who would like can now give the stars with the help of sugar writing a small face or decorate them otherwise.

Have fun baking!
