Basic Pancakes – so simple and yet so delicious

If it has to go fast or if it simply shouldn’t be anything big for dinner, then we always have pancakes. They taste good and are also great as a side dish to soups such as pea soup, chicken soup and so on.

The best thing about pancakes, however, is that they are totally variable. Whether hearty, sweet or fruity, pancakes have almost no taboos. Fresh fruits give the pancake that extra something. I prefer apples and cherries (best to core them beforehand). But of course it also works with bananas, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries or whatever you have in your house. Even without fruit, just with a little sugar or cinnamon, pancakes taste fantastic.

Tip: A nut nougat cream is also very tasty, especially for the little eaters.

How do I prepare pancakes with the Thermomix?

Add 400g milk, 100g mineral water and 3 eggs to the mixing bowl and stir for 20 seconds speed 4 until foamy. Then add 250g flour and some salt and mix for 30 seconds speed 4.

Fry the pancakes with fat (oil or butter) in the pan from both sides. You can decide how big or thick you want your pancake to be. Personally, I like them when they’re a little thicker.

If you want fruit on the pancake, cover it with it just before you turn it over.

The pancakes also taste very good cold the next day!

Hinweis: Die im Rezept angegebene Backzeit kann aufgrund von Temperaturungenauigkeiten bei den verschiedensten Backofenmodellen von der Backzeit, die du benötigst, etwas abweichen. Behalte das Gericht im Backofen – zumindest beim ersten Versuch – deshalb immer im Auge.

Alle Zeitangaben beziehen sich auf die Standardmengen an Zutaten. Wenn du kleinere oder größere Portionen zubereiten willst, kann es vorkommen, dass du die Zubereitungszeit dementsprechend anpassen musst.
